Halkbank AD Skopje opened its new branch in Debar
Following the tendency to broaden its branch network, by making the bank‘s services accessible for the citizens and businesses from all areas of the Republic of Macedonia, Halkbank AD Skopje, on 6th of September 2016 officially opened its new branch in Debar and attained the number of 35 branches on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.
Halkbank’s branch network is consisted of 35 branches, out of which 16 in Skopje and the rest of them spread in 19 cities throughout the Republic. By opening new, modern branches and renovating the current ones, Halkbank AD Skopje is constantly contributing for the improvement of the services’ quality, with the aim of meeting the daily banking needs of the citizens and businesses in a qualitative and consistent way.
The opening ceremony of Branch Debar started at 13:00h with many distinguished guests, among which was the mayor of Debar Municipality, Mr. Ruzhdi Lata and Mr. Mukrem Mehmedi, the mayor of Mavrovo and Rostusha Municipality, as well as many representatives from the business community in the country and clients of Halkbank AD Skopje.
Mr. Turhan Ademi, the Acting Chief Executive Director of Halkbank AD Skopje addressed the guests at the opening by thanking them for their presence and support for the growth of the Bank. He pointed out the major achievements of the Bank for the year of 2015, and emphasized the innovative services’ approach, maintained by the introduction of the first mobile application for legal entities in the Macedonian banking sector, as well as the introduction of the mobile application for individuals, enabling easier access to the banking services for all customers.
After his speech, the mayor of Debar Municipality, Mr. Ruzhdi Lata, also delivered its speech in front of the present guests. The ceremonial cutting of the red ribbon in order to mark the official opening of the branch followed after the speech and all the guests were welcomed in the new branch premises, located in the center of Debar.
