WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO APPLY FOR A VISA PAYWAVE ELECTRON?

Filled out application for a debit card and a photocopy from your ID card.

 

HOW LONG IS THE PROCEDURE TO ISSUE A CARD?

Once the application is approved, the procedure to issue a card takes 2 working days for the card to be delivered at the branch of the client’s choice. The client will be notified via SMS.

 

HOW CAN I MAKE CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS?

The contactless payments with Visa PayWave Electron can be done once you bring the card closer to the POS terminal accepting contactless payments. PIN or signature authorisation is not required for transactons limited to MKD 2.000,00, or to the limit for contactless payment set at the terminal accepting contactless cards.

 

WHAT IS THE VALIDITY DATE OF THE CARD?

The validity date of the card is 3 years with the possibility for re-issuance.
